The CarLabImmo Fiat Replacement Key is an OBDII tool designed for reading and storing the key code of an existing, working car key. This tool is specifically developed for Fiat models equipped with a Delphi (Code 1) immobilizer system and a key with a Megamos ID48 transponder. The tool connects directly to the vehicle's OBDII port and requires one functioning key to copy the necessary data.

After reading and internally storing the key code, the tool functions as an emulator. This allows the vehicle to be started with a mechanically duplicated key, without a transponder, as long as the Fiat Replacement Key tool is connected to the OBDII port. The process is fully plug-and-play and requires no modifications to the vehicle electronics or the immobilizer memory.

This tool provides a method for creating a functional copy of a vehicle key for specific Fiat models. The operation is based on emulating a programmed key transponder.

• Read and store key code: Reads the code from an existing, working key with a Megamos ID48 transponder and stores it internally.

This tool is not compatible with Fiat Code 2 systems using Philips transponders.
