The BMP-10A Svetovid Mechanised Infantry Combat Vehicle was designed as part of the late 2330s generation to combat the Strayvian Invasion. First deployed in 2337, it is intended to replace the BMP-9. A grav engine gives it considerably improved speed. It has much greater forward and side armour, and replaces the BMP-9’s weaponry with a larger 60mm cannon capable of firing a lighter version of the Hammer AP rounds, supported by a powerful particle beam cannon in the coaxial mount. In addition, the Svetovid is equipped with firing ports on the sides to allow its seven infantry to weapons fire from inside, including the RPG-55.
