This is a detailed set of mid century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl and black onyx cufflinks & tie bar.

The pearls are 5.50mm and round. Pearls have great luster with bright rosy overtones. They are set into hand cut black onyx and hand engraved sterling silver. The edges are accented with delicate milgrain.

They are made of solid sterling silver and stamped "SILVER" and "STERLING" "950" which is a little more pure than standard sterling. Cufflinks are 5/8 x 6/8 inch and tie bar is 2 inch long. From Japan 1950's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Small chip at the bottom of the onyx on tie bar.
