This is a lovely vintage natural Japanese saltwater akoya keshi pearl and sterling silver necklace.

It features rare natural keshi pearls. Keshi pearls are natural pearls that result from the culturing process. They do not have a bead core and form inside the oyster alongside the cultured pearls. The pearls are white in color with light pink overtones. They are a flat organic shape with a ripple surface texture. They range from 5.00-5.50mm. 

Total length is 28 Inch. The clasp is hand engraved with milgrain detailing and a pearl set in the center. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling silver. From Japan 1940-1960's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
