DURO-TUSS Dry Cough & Cold Liquid Night is formulated to provide temporary relief from a dry cough and symptoms associated with the common cold, including a blocked or runny nose. Suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over.

Grape flavour.

Ingredients

Active ingredients (per 5mL):

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate 10mg

• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg

• Brompheniramine maleate 2mg

Other ingredients:

• Ascorbic Acid

• Citric Acid

• Disodium Edetate

• Ethyl Maltol

• Flavour

• Glycerol

• Hypromellose (Hypetellose)

• Maltitol Solution

• Methyl Hydroxybenzoate

• Propyl Hydroxybenzoate

• Propylene Glycol

• Purified Water

• Saccharin Sodium

• Sodium Citrate

• Sodium Metabisulfite

• Sorbitol Solution (70%) (non-crystallising)

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over:

• Take 10mL every 4 hours at night as required.

• Maximum 6 doses in 24 hours.

Children 6–11 years:

• Use only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

Do not use in children under 6 years of age.

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

• Store below 25°C.

Warnings

Do not use:

• In children under 6 years of age.

• In children aged 6–11 years except on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if:

• You have high blood pressure.

• You have heart problems.

• You are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or antidepressant, or have taken one within the past two weeks.

• You are taking antihistamines or other medicines intended to treat cold symptoms.

• You are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

While using this medicine:

• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

• This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery.

• Avoid alcohol.

• This medicine may cause sleeplessness in some individuals.
