This is a detailed mid century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.

The pearl is 5.75mm round. It has great luster with bright rosy overtones. It is set on top of a white colored mother of pearl tablet.

The setting is made of solid silver. Stamped "STERLING" "950" which is a little more pure than traditional sterling. It has fine hand engraved details and a double row of milgrain. Total length is 2 1/8 inch. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Some noticeable scratches and could use a polish if desired.
